We have been very busy in the Lodge recently! We had three-second degrees in July, which means we are going to have three third degrees coming up… We will have one third degree on September 23rd and one on September 29th! The third one will be in October. Please come and support our brothers who will be raised as Master Masons. We have a couple of brothers who will receive their second degree in the next month.
At the August Stated Meeting we had a house full of Masons here to see what is going on as far as a dues vote. We heard from a few brothers that wanted to explain why they felt there was a better way to handle the finances of the lodge. As I said to some of the brothers " I wish I had met you before" I have been coming to the Lodge pretty regularly and did not know some of them. Also it would be nice if some of them that said they had a better way of handling things would volunteer to assist in that aspect.
On the other hand it was nice to see some faces that I put to the names I already have heard of and hope they "you" keep coming back now that you remember where we are located.
Well now is the time that some of our officers start moving up and working on their work for next year. We have an abundance of good prospects for next year and Br. Sergio can pick and choose with ease. So next year should be very good and Sergio will do a great job. It would be even easier if you were there.
